Intro: The 2021 Solaia from Marchesi Antinori exemplifies a refined powerhouse of a Super Tuscan. Elegant yet structured, with ripe dark fruit, fine tannins and the hallmark sophistication of Antinori’s flagship blend. This vintage is highly regarded for its balance between concentration and finesse. Solaia is produced only in the best vintages from the Solaia vineyard. The sunniest parcel of Tenuta Tignanello. The name “Solaia” derives from “sole” (sun in Italian) referencing its exposure.

On the palate, it is full bodied yet impeccably balanced, with a lush dark fruit core, velvety tannins, and fresh acidity that supports its structure. The finish is long and persistent, leaving impressions of coffee bean, spice, and licorice
