Murganheira Super Reserva 2022

Intro: Despite the “Reserva” name, this is actually a sparkling wine (“espumante”), not a still wine. It spends 4 years on the lees (bottle aging) after its second fermentation. Produced by Murganheira, a historic Portuguese winery with cellars carved in blue granite, which help maintain stable temperature for aging.

Tasting Notes: The 2022 Murganheira Super Reserva reveals elegant dried fruit aromas layered with subtle hints of vanilla. On the palate, it offers a soft, harmonious texture balanced by refreshing acidity, all carried by an extremely fine and refined mousse. A beautifully crafted sparkling wine with both finesse and purity.
