Intro: The 2016 Château Le Bon Pasteur reveals a deep garnet purple color and offers aromas of dark chocolate, kirsch, blackberries, tobacco and bay leaf, damp soil and tar nuances. The palate is medium to full bodied, with firm, grainy tannins and a lively line of acidity, giving good intensity and an earthy finish. The estate covers approximately 6.6 hectares in Pomerol and is managed under the guidance of consultant oenologist Michel Rolland (and his family) and has adopted sustainable viticultural practices.
