Grand Cru Brut Millesime 2014
Intro: Egly-Ouriet is considered a “grower Champagne legend” (RM – Récoltant-Manipulant), crafting wines only from their own Grand Cru vineyards. Francis Egly is known as a pioneer of low-dosage, terroir-driven Champagne. Aged for an extraordinary 100 months on lees (over 8 years), far longer than Champagne’s legal minimum (36 months). Very limited production, making each vintage highly collectible among Champagne enthusiasts.

Tasting Notes: The Egly-Ouriet Grand Cru Brut Millésime 2014 is a powerful and terroir-driven Champagne with remarkable depth. The bouquet opens with complex aromas of baked apple, pear, and citrus zest, layered with notes of brioche, toasted almond, chalk, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and precise, with concentrated flavors of orchard fruit, lemon curd, and stone fruit framed by a creamy texture and fine, persistent mousse. Mineral and saline undertones add tension and elegance. The finish is long, refined, and complex, a structured vintage Champagne with outstanding aging potential.
