Intro: The 2012 Château Angélus is a landmark vintage: it was the year Angélus was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé “A” status. It’s a bold, powerful wine with great density, structure, and elegance; combining rich fruit with a precise, mineral core. 2012 was the year Angélus officially became Premier Grand Cru Classé “A”. To celebrate, they used a special black and gold bottle with raised gold glass inscription instead of a paper label. It was also the year the 8th generation of the de Boüard de Laforest family joined management.
