Intro: Bastardo (known as Trousseau in France) is a rare, delicate red grape with light color but remarkable aromatic intensity. Once nearly forgotten in the Douro, it’s being revived as a varietal wine, offering finesse and elegance compared to the region’s traditionally powerful reds.
